Cotton doesn’t come from a store. It comes from a farm.
Behind every shirt is a farm, a family, and a whole lot of hard work. We’re glad you’re here.
A Farmer’s Wife With a Vision.
In the summer of 2025, Tammy walked past a booth at AmericasMart. The booth demonstrated how they take cotton from farmers and turn it into American-made shirts. As the wife of a cotton farmer, Tammy saw the potential. By the following harvest season, she knew this was the right path. The Southern Cotton Company was officially founded in December 2025, rooted in the same land and values that have guided the Holt family for decades.
Now that story is yours to wear.
What You’re Supporting
Behind every shirt is a farm family that gets up before sunrise, works until after sunset, and pours everything they have into the land. We grow our cotton sustainably because we plan to be farming this same soil for generations to come. When you support The Southern Cotton Company, you're supporting real people and American agriculture. Each shirt includes a QR code: scan it to meet the farmer and see exactly where your cotton was grown.
Meet the Holts
By harvest season, the decision was made. Today, their cotton is grown in Alabama and Florida, spun in North Carolina, knit in Pennsylvania, and sewn into shirts in Georgia. Every step of the process is on American soil and made by American hands. Each shirt includes a QR code so you can meet the farmer behind it.
The Southern Cotton Company exists to reconnect people to agriculture and offer a product grown, made, and worn with pride. Farmers are some of the hardest-working people in America, and we’re here to support them.
The Southern Cotton Company was born from a lifelong connection to farming, family, and the land. It all started with the Holts, a farming family based in Southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. What started with 50 acres in 1986 has grown to over 3,000 acres of cotton, peanuts, corn, hay, and cattle today. Tammy and Joey Holt raised their two sons, Justin and Brandon, on that land. Their youngest, Brandon, was born with dirt under his fingernails and a deep love for farming. In 2019, they lost him in a tragic farming accident. Brandon’s spirit is deeply woven into the fabric of the brand.
The idea came in the summer of 2025, when Tammy discovered a company that could take their own farm-grown cotton and turn it into American-made shirts.
Our Mission & Values
What We’re Built On…
Farming is
a Way of Life
For us, farming isn't something we clock in and out of: it’s the very fabric of our life. Farming is the pride of our family and the legacy we're working to protect for the next generation.
What We Build Today, They’ll
Inherit Tomorrow
Every decision we make supports preserving farming for future generations in our great nation. We’re not just about selling shirts: we’re passionate about supporting agriculture and American jobs.
Rooted in Honesty. Sewn with Pride.
We believe people should know where their products come from and who makes them. We want to show people that their clothing can come directly from American farms and be made right here in the United States.
Faith & Family Above All Else
We're a family business. Everything we do is rooted in faith, the people we love, and the land we're blessed to tend.
